Shortly after we lost Ben, I was ready to walk away from everything.

Let’s sell the house, sell the businesses, let’s be those people who say F! it to living a conventional life and just travel the world, world school the kids, and LIVE.

The hubby quickly reigned me back in, but for months I listened to podcasts about #worldschooling. If you don’t know what the heck this is, you’ve gotta look it up!

The truth is I just wanted to escape.

Time passed and so did the idea.

And then COVID hit.

Here we are, just over 1 year later and Olivia physically can’t go back to school. We tried remote learning at first, but she kept expressing to me that she wanted to homeschool.

I fought my intuition for a couple of weeks and then decided, maybe, just maybe, we could pull this off.

Perhaps we could homeschool and even dip our toes in the world schooling waters!?

So here we are, saying F! it in our own way, trusting that the greatest storm of our lives was meant to hit at the exact right time — eventually clearing our path for a beautiful journey ahead.

This mama is still super nervous whether or not this is the “right” way to go, but also willing to answer the call that I believe Ben has placed on my heart.

So here we go! Our first attempt at being a #worldschoolingfamily. 😬😊🤗
